FOR SALE 1966 Coronet 500 (in Georgia)

EE1 Dark Poly Blue car. factory 383/4bbl car with automatic. solid car with all new and rebuilt drivetrain, suspension, and brakes. Interior is decent, good for a driver. car is complete, needs paint.

engine: I just broke in the cam on this fresh 400. new rings, new cam, mains, and rod bearings. new oil pump. heads have recently had the seats and value reground, and I replaced eight guides in one of the heads. MP valve springs with dampers. New CompCams XE2262H-10 camshaft (.462"/.47" 262/279), windage tray and original baffled 402 pan. Holley 4160 cam. Pertronix Electronic Ignition. all the externals are restored to original appearance (original valve covers, air cleaner, correct brackets, etc..). original ex. manifolds with correct head pipes.

  • recored original style radiator (orig. radiator also included).
  • new heater core, all new hoses.
  • rebuilt 727 with shift kit.
  • new gas tank, pickup and lines (3/8").
  • new brake lines (steel and rubber new).
  • all new disc brake components (converted, original 10" included too).
  • rebuilt rear drums.
  • rebuilt front suspension.
  • some new weatherstripping.
  • new alternator, rebuilt PS pump, new water pump, new u-joint.
  • original 383 block and heads included.
  • currently has 15" cop wheels.
  • dash is nice, original radio.
  • includes lots of spare parts.
  • a lot of effort was made to rebuild the car with correct fasteners and components.

    This car was off the road since 1977. I got it 6-7 years ago. it was 99% original (including carb & distributor!) the only serious rust was in the front right floorpan (which I replaced) and the passenger quarter panel, and I have a complete quarter from a parts car including the wheelhouse. I also have all the original sheetmetal (door, hood) plus an excellent decklid, all of which are included...

    I have too many projects to finish the car, though I would like to. I did the mechanicals, it just needs the 1/4 to be fixed and painted. I have the certicard and a fendertag. car was bought and and spent its entire life in rural north east Georgia.
